Fixed the issue. problem was pin 6. although the pad was there the trace was fucked, i put a jumper.

Figured it was J5250, I just accidentally ripped it off just now, taking off all the pads except one. luckily most of them are not connected or ground. I have stuck it down with 2 jumpers on pin 6 and 7 also replaced R5250 and C5250. still no luck

Got a a1502 2015 model with liquid damage around u3310, replaced a few burned components. The MacBook works perfect, it just won’t sleep when the lid is shut. any ideas what it could be?

Quick question, would a A1494 battery (made for 2014 a1398) work on a a1398 2015 Retina. I ordered a A1494 battery instead of A1618 (couldn’t find any in the uk) one and it works absolutely fine, just want to make sure it’s safe

Yes, got a new battery today and it seems to work absolutely fine. Looks like the 15” 2013-2015 need a battery connected for it to work.
