Since I do not have thermal camera.

Shouldn't something heat and alcohol show it?

Don't you think something related to U6855 could be the problem?

TPAD_3V3_SPI_EN = OL and on the OpenBoardData = 0.590

However its not a short to ground.

Does make sense to think that TPAD_3V3_SPI_EN is OL because I removed U6855?

I am really stuck with this Mac and need to solve this.

Nothing heats with 4V. Should I put amps to 3A?

How can "YOU" adjust the amps???
The Ohm law has any sense for you?
I told you to set PSU amp limit to max FIRST.

Actually you told to not use at 3A because I could block the PSU.

But anyways I made other questions and you didn't reply.

What is your toughts on this?

You CANNOT adjust the current injected in the MLB.
Adjusting the voltage, AUTOMATICALLY changes the current consumption.
You MUST set PSU current limit to max just to prevent PSU blocking, in case the actual voltage will cause higher current.
Did you set amp limit to max???

What is current consumption with 4V applied?

I mentioned previously here that I am using 4V / 2A

Consumption is around 1A when I am shortening to ground PP3V3_G3S

PS: My PSU is max range is 35V/3.1A

I repetead several times already.
Set PSU limit to MAX; 3A in your case.

If you really get 1A/4V, that means 4W of power dispated as heat; enough to detect something (at least a litle bit) heater than rest of MLB.
Of course, thermal camera helps a lot in such case.

"Consumption is around 1A when I am shortening to ground PP3V3_G3S"
I don't understand what you mean.
Why would you that?

I had thermal camera in the past and didn't think useful.

Also I am using thinner instead of alcohol but it showed really well U6855 getting hot and drying the thinner itself. After removed this IC nothing else got HEAT.

I will set to 4V/3A and check all of the rest

BY THE WAY

I removed U6860 and also the short still on the board
and I put NEW U8200... now we do not have short betwenn S-D only on PP3V3_G3S

Is it ok to inject 4V with the removed U6860 and soldered new 8200 in the board?

Let me know before I proceed with 4V/3A

I was following your guidance.

But deiced to explore a bit around some componentes and found that PP1V8_G3S is shortened to ground also.

Now what?

Are we doing the wrong thing since the beginning?

DIODE MODE

PP1V8_G3S = 0.000V (Looks worse than 3V3_g3S)
PP3V3_G3S = 0.004V

Can I input max 2V/3A on this line? Please guide on how to better setup my PSU and I will inject voltage on it.

Also should I remove any component before injecting voltage like I did on 3V3_G3S?

Inject voltage and see what heats up.

PLEASE, stop setting the current manually on the PSU.
I can't remember how many times I told you to set amp limit to MAX; as first step.

Missing basic electronics knowledges is a nightmare.
And personal training is not the goal of the forum.

Injected 1V on the line PP1V8_G3S and looked at all components and still didnt find a thing!

amp consuption goest to 1.300a

Put it to 2V and still didn't find

The only thing that I noticed is injecting voltage around U5001 to check around this area it goes to 3 amps

Other areas are 2 amps or less

does this say something?

An IR cam should show something heating; maybe just a bit more than the rest of the board.
2V/2A generates 4W; 6W for 2V/3A.

I recommend to lower the voltage, to keep the current bit lower than 3A; PSU may enter into protection (at 3A) and may not inject anything then.
