But considering that I only have the screen and fan connected, and the board itself matches the diode mode readings as shown in Openboarddata, why would the microphone be causing an issue?

I understand that if the microphone were connected to the board, it could potentially cause a short. However, since it's not connected and the board still isn't receiving voltage, what are your thoughts on this?

Additionally, could you provide more comprehensive explanations? I've been working on this board for nearly a month now, and it's been extremely costly both in terms of money and time, yet I still haven't resolved the issue.

Yes with the microphone connected PP1V8_G3S is in short.

So since I am not going to make it connected and still no short and 0V on this line.

What to do?

If 1V8G3S_EN is present (and no output short), then 1V8_G3S must come on.
If not, bad U8220 (or its solders).

Replaced U8220 and now we do have 1V8_G3S

Just put the board in the case again only screen and fan connected

Now we have a different behavior

20.37V on the amp meter and we do not have fan spinning any more when pluggin the charger.

It doesn't happen nothing

Still we do have 1V8_G3S ;)

What now?

AGAIN I am using the original USB-C cable one for power and another for the connection between the two machines.

Put in DFU mode however trying to revive I do get this message.

Actually what is most important for the customer is the data inside this computer. What to do now?

Do I need to connect the battery?

You asked if I connected the trackpad. But not sure if you have reading issues.

I told you before that I was only connected with

FAN
SCREEN

So trackpad is not connected.... the shorted mic is not connected and anything else that is not FAN and SCREEN

Now I am doing this operation with

FAN
SCREEN
TRACKPAD

Please again, be compreehensive with you information for me to fix this machine. We are here for almost a month

Trackpad is required for DFU, as other technicians claimed on Internet.

If you got padlock sign, means revive has been completed.
Restore may help better, but will erase SSD.

If you was able to complerte DFU revive, data may be recovered into DFU mode; by an aurhorized Apple workshop!

Me as a technician cannot be able to recover his data?

So why are we still working to repair on these machines?

Doesn't make any sense anymore.

I spent a whole month here back and forth with you to arrive at this???

Seriously?
